Having another day of work would be rude not to visit another LFS and this time I come away with a red Gonipora and another acan colony bottom left in first picture not fully out yet.

I've annoyed the one on left when I moved it to get red one in

All other corals have settled well and managed to get a decent picture of my mystery wrass had him about a year but hard to get a picture of him as he so quick

Nice tank. Do you have any pictures of your plumbing? Mainly the drains... wondering how you tied the two of them together or if they are separate drains?

They are 2 separate drains just grabbed some pictures all be it not the best pictures.

Each one exits into its own large expansion chamber basically a large reverse durso this makes the system absolutely silent as the air then escapes upwards and the water goes down no bubbles except micro bubbles but they are silent :)

Each line also has its own ball valve just below the bulk head to allow for tuning

Today having a day of work it was time to pull out some of the SPS to allow more room for LPS.

I've had a bit of a move round with some of the LPS but will add some more after Christmas to fill the gaps.

The Gonipora are loving it and the Clowns also loving them

There will be some big changes coming in the new year a new tank and a complete change of setup I'll start a Marty's Reef MK2 when the time comes but I've taken this as far as I want to and looking forward to the change next year. I'll take what I have learnt from this one and hopefully the next one will be even better :)

Loving those tangs! I recently lost my purple, yellow, and white tail in a crash. Looking for another tang to add. I just got a yellow eye kole tang and I love it! Very colorful and active.

Sorry for your loss one of my favourites was my as Mustard-Jewel-Tang (Acanthurus Guttatus) as pictured below

Was such a character and awesome personality but got my other half to help me one day on a waterchange and she sucked it up the pipe!!!

I was not ammused I'm now on the lookout for another

A few new editions today

2 wall hammers and a rainbow acan

Acans are also loving being on the sand bed and are puffing up a lot more

I have a load of bare space on the rocks now so maybe more SPS needed to fill those gaps.

Your tank looks so lovely:) What fish do you have?

There is a few of us with marine tanks in Norwich in the UK

It's been a while so better update due to personally family issues the tank got left to get on with it resulting in a lot of the coral stock dying there was no fish loss just corals due to not having the time or the commitment to it you will remember it like this

however after all the family issues I was left with this !!

It was then time to set about bringing it back and having a clean up first was the sand bed as you can see left hand side was cleaned so can see just how bad it was !!

Next was the sump that was a complete mess !!

It now brings me upto this stage

followed by a 200L waterchange and I'll do another 200L over the weekend

A few more pictures of the stock

over time will hopefully get it back to what it was

current stock is

Yellow Tang
Regal Tang x 2
Purple Tang
Kole Tang
Orange Shoulder Tang
Lipstick Tang
Mystery Wrasse
Yellow Wrasse
Cleaner Wrasse
Fuzzy Dwarf lionfish x 2
Chomis
Picasso Trigger
Diamond Trigger
Clown fish x 2

hope you enjoyed the update :)

It's been a while since I've posted a video so here is tonight's feed :)
