What's up socalireefers! So I purchased a six line wrasse last week and decided to make a
DIY screen top. Bought Some 3/8 by 36" wood square dowels, 5/16" screen frame corners, water resistant loctite glue, and 1/4" clear screen from amazon. I had the spray paint and primer from previous projects. Total besides the spray paint, was under $15 and only about 2hrs worth of total build time in between curing process for glue and paint

I used a router to make the lip that sits on the tank and a 1/8" grove for the screen spline.
I need to get and learn how to use a router! Is something like that easy to do? I just bought a table saw but I think a router with table is the next tool I need.

That's my next purchase too. You just gotta be very careful because routers can be dangerous.
