Now that red with blue polyp monti on the other hand is sick.

I believe one is tropic thunder and the other is tropic hurricane, cant remember which is which.

True, I heard there are two kind.
Now my head is messed up too!

I got mine directly from Raymond two guy coral years ago.

The TGC (RR??) tropic thunder should has blue polyps.
Here is mine
I think it's also called wwc cherry tree monti
this is from their auction. Sometimes It gets muddy green when it grows into a bigger colony. Kind of like kum pao does. But It's also commonly sold as RR tropic thunder.

If I'm not wrong yours could be TGC Tropic thunder. Which is awesome looking btw.

I'm not monti guru. My interest is in Acropora. It is the only monti I have!
But I can tell that they are different, one with green polyps, when mine has blue polyps.
And the only reason I still keep it is because the blue polyps!

Yeah those two are definitely different. Does it ever get noticeable PE or do the polyps sit deeper inside of the skeleton?

Edit: nvm saw it in the pic . Pretty neat
