So I put my phone underwater and I heard this vibration sound from my mp40. I've aligned everything. My glass is 10mm thick. Do you guys this is over kill for my 42g n would a gyre be better for a mix reef? https://vimeo.com/199036703

I run 2 mp40 and a gyre 130 in my 110. They both have different wave patterns so it's not really "better" just different

is it a new MP40 or used? If used, take it apart and see if any of the plastic is worn out.

The mp40 was new. Im gonna clean the wet side n all pumps n see if it goes away. It's only under water that I hear the songs n worried if it's bad for fish. They say don't tap the glass Cus it hurts the fish 🤣

Yeah I noticed the same thing with mp40qd and gyre 150 after filming in tank with my gopro. Outside the tank there's no sounds, inside was a pretty loud hum. I wouldn't worry about it.
