My Tank Build
#1
Does anyone's tank get hit with NSL? I actually like it, although I have started to notice my sps seem to grow towards the side that does get hit by NSL. The incrusting grows faster and seem to have more growth on the right sides of my corals.

What are those green things on your rock?

My tank is next to window and i leave the curtain open so that it will get NSL. I haven't notice anything different.

Every morning I open up the shades and my tank gets hit by about 2hrs of sunlight and my clam loves it. It's a nice different look too

My tank gets indirect sunlight a few hours a day. By indirect, I mean it several feet from the huge windows, but the coral all seem to like it. Plus they don't get blasted when the lights turn on, same for the fish :)

I always wondered if it really makes a difference with the new windows being double pain windows not to let sunlight shine through if it gives any benefit to the tank with the sunlight rays getting filtered out by the glass.
