T5 bulbs questions

Wow i was hopping people we going to say 8 to 12 months. I running 6 bulbs now. Maybe i should have just replaced my leds

I've let them go for a year before, but you'll see a difference. Coral growth definitely slows down and the bulbs will lose strength, not noticeable to the eye as it gradually fades but once you replace the first one you'll see what I mean. If you run them less time you can stretch it a bit more, there's peeps that run their bulbs for 12 hours. The bulbs I run for 3 hours I'll let go for a year

I run a ati sp 8lamp. 2lamps come on at 430, the other 6 lamps come on at 445. 6lamps turn off at 1130, the other 2lamps turn of at 1145. Approx 7 hrs. KZ Super blue x6, kz fijipink x2. Roughly 10" from water surface. Planning on replacing them 10-12month.

I use to run my t5s as supplement only to my dual 250w radiums. 2x ATI blue plus and 1 KZ Fiji purple 6hrs a day. Change bulbs every 9months. ATI bulbs loose intensity after 6months.
