Why does the line tee at the dual di? Shouldn't the line go from one di to the next?

Edit...duh it's probably the tds meter.

I thought someone might ask that...I wanted a 45 but didn't have the right fit. Then I was thinking I could use it as another flush mechanism....no?

Got a pic of the back of the dual di?

How did you plumb it?

Everything else is normal, I just need to get rid of the tee as the membrane has a flush....however this tee has a open end with a valve and I can use it get water moving through the system without opening the DI valve on the far end of the dual DI. So actually I think I'll keep it

This gave me motivation to install my 5th stage for chloramine buster added now. Replaced all my filters but Didn't change my DI yet since it still reads 0 TDS.

So did I set it up wrong?
* Sediment Filter
* Carbon Block Filter
* Membrane
* Chloramine Removal Carbon
* MaxCap(r) DI Cartridge
* SilicaBuster DI Cartridge
I see this image and it goes through the membrane right before the DI, where mine goes through membrane then Chloramine Carbon.

I'm confused are you selling these? How much water was run through the filters?

Speaking of RO/DI systems...I just changed my filters and the canisters leak. How hard do I tighten? I was under the same logic that if you over tighten it, it'll compromise the seal, kind of like bulkheads.

They should all be snugged tight. I never use the tool to tighten or loosen them.

Hmmm. I tried by hand first, but then water gushed out. So I used the tool. I'm getting a slow leak. And despite my PSI being 85-90, my RO/DI water is taking almost double the time to make. Hmmm....

I get 80 psi doing above.
And 60 psi below

It's supposed to go
-sediment
-carbon
-chloramine
-r o membrane
-di

With the dual di, you only replace the second cartridge with new, then you rotate the second cartridge into the first position. Because you usually change the di resin when you see 1 tds, the first di will be higher then that, so I rotate the di when I change mine.

Thanks bud.
Is 60 psi ok then?
Where do I put the TDS testers at for the first set of filters?

Mine is at 60 and it's fine. I have 2 dual tds meters. I have one probe on the inlet to the sediment to see what the tds entering. One after the membrane to keep tabs on the membrane. One after the second DI to make sure the output is 0tds. Once the water hits 1tds, I move the second di into the first position, and use new di resin on the second cartridge. I use the marine depot bulk resin in refillable cartridges.
