nope i like to keep my tank at a lower temp durning the winter time. but those grills are cool

I'll maybe try one out once my cobalt heater shows signs of failing but so far been two years. I do set my heater at a higher temp (84degrees) but it's on a controller that turns it on if water temp is below 76.5 so my temps usually 77-78

Any idea on costs? If its the same price as the others Id consider trying it.

I think I would still definitely hook it up to my controller just in case. But I might try it.
