I found these glass ornaments in my art teachers back room and decided to try something

Algae , ornament and base

Putting the algae in the ornament

Putting phyto and 2 weeks old brine shrimp

Drill hole in base and apply some superglue

And bam instant biosphere

Made a few more

Extremely clever.

They do this with the Opae U'ue shrimp as well.

I do similar stuff with small jars. These ornamental microsystems can be about of fun and yours is very cool.

It would be wise to get a beautiful piece of wood from a lumber/carpentry supply warehouse and make something purty.
