Hey guys,

Just looking forward to hearing what you guys do for power outs, mainly in a case when your not home.
I've been considering a battery backup for my powerheads to keep circulation going, but I figure my 200w heater would drain it in just minutes.
Trying to stay away from a generator, since once again I'm looking for something automated for my 55gal.

Love to hear input!

Automated is kinda hard unless you have DC pumps that can run off 12v like ecotech or just go with a UPS battery back up but not very efficient.

It's actually a standalone tank (no sump), so I guess my main concern is flow & heating
I'm sure I can take care of flow w/ my 2x powerheads on a UPS back-up, but wondering what can be done for heating for a 200w heater
