Clowns spawning on toadstool

My black ice clowns are spawning in the center of their toadstool. They are eating the eggs that don't attach. Is this normal? This is their first spawn in the year I've had them. I better start reading up on what to do next.

You going to try raising them? I wanted to when I first had my clown spawn then I realized how much work was involved and quickly changed my mind.

I'd like to but I think I'll have to skip this batch and move the fish for the next spawn. I'm raising cardinal fish, 1 month old , and growing phyto. But the cards are easier I think. I need to read up on clowns. My female must have just hit maturity.

Are these Banghai cardinals your raising? If so could you provide me a female when they are ready for sale?
