Birdsnest are pretty hardy sps and mine recovered fully. Nothing wrong with RC but the super high alk value. That'll help you now along with dosing. Going forward I'd choose a salt with the parameters closer to what you are keeping your tank at. If you need to do a large emergency water change down the road, parameter swings will be one less stress factor.

If your po4 comes back undetectable try and keep you alk around 7.5-8. Lower alk pairs better with nutrient deficient tanks for sps.

RC has a new formula with low alk for years now. They just never mention it. Think alk is around 7-8 now. Water change is to bring up the salinity and then test to see what he needs to correct by dosing the right amount.
