Does anyone know if you can use dead coral skeletons as a replacement for liverock? Are there any benefits or disadvantages with doing this? I think I've seen it in fish only systems but not sure about reef tanks. I have a really cool idea for my 40 gallon cube and rescaping it but wanted to get others' opinions first. Thanks!!
