Luckily, it is serviceable, and i just opened it up and cleaned it out, and it is back to working again. Do you have it properly clipped up?

The aqua c remora with mj1200 comes with 2 of the rubber black hose clips that work sort of work by dual tension I believe they are called herbie clips. The mj1200 also has very little lift capabilities to it. I could only imagine it doing a couple inches, maybe a foot at best, of hose. It says it is rated to 4 feet of lift, but I do not believe it will pull off the skimming job using 4ft.
