I purchased the new JBJ SL 140.

They recently came out with the JBJ LT-120, and the SL series came out right after. It is virtually identical to the LT-120, but it is slimmer, and comes in several different length variations.

I've had good results with JBJ products, myself, and I really enjoy that they are local, here in Southern California. I've met several of their sales reps and they are all real cool mannered dudes.

Gigantic Box it comes in

Strange observation - 3 prong Driver, but cord that comes with it is not grounded. Not like it is absolutely necessary, but .... odd.

I'll post more info as I get to play with it more. For the price I paid (about $360 on Amazon) I am very, very impressed.

If you have any questions, let me know.

This light continues to impress me. The preset timers are not bad, but it is necessary to go into the custom settings and play around for a while to really get the colors popping.

I am getting beautiful colors out of my corals, more then the unibody 700 did, now that I've got the custom timers configured.

Sure, it has no apex integration, but for a reef nerd on a budget, this is stellar.

The attached pictures are unfiltered and unchopped, taken on my 1+3t

I've got my cell phone configured to take pictures on this tank, now.

Here is how awesome this tank looks with this light on it up close.
