I used dry rock for my new tank but magnesium it's over 1500 could be dry rock high in magnesium?
I got it from a guy in Craigslist

Mg should be mainly from the salt you have used.
Red sea pro has very high Mg.

I don't think 1500 cause any issue though.

I do t have any problems with Red Sea in my old tank...
I'm going back with Red Sea will see if any thing changes

I did the cycle with fritz after all parameters was good I transferred all the coral..
But I did two water changes in my old tank using fritz first water change everything looks fine second water change was when I started seen my corals shrink no more polyp extensions although was maybe phosphate too hung but when I check the phosphate was almost cero

I think you shock your corals... are you dosing? And if you are dosing did you adjust it?

Were you testing while you were switching? How high it was and how low it got with the WC? If it dropped a lot of alk, since RSCP is pretty high and fritz is very low, I think thats what caused it not the mag being so high. Usually ALK causes a reaction with corals.

I didn't check only alk with Red Sea was 8.9
With fritz after water change was 8.3
