My current Jebao dc6000 died, so .. being on a budget and just need to replace , I'm debatable by the dct, dcp,and dcs models .
I have the old blue dc 6000 now, and it's on a 135 dt w a 40g sump .. so roughly 110-115 twv.

I use a 1.5" pvc drain w a T split .. returned by a 1" hose off the pump to a split return using .75" flex hose if that helps :)

Also does anyone know for sure if the new model 8000s
Will have the same exact size output as my old dc 6000 ? Would like to just swap hose onto new pump without needing to take off and redo the clamps, if possible.

Thank in advance!

Side note: I realize they come w adapters for hose size.. I'm curious though if the actual size opening of the output in the pump ( with no adapter ) is the same .. so I can just screw in the old adapter / union onto the new pump ... if that makes sense lol

I just bought the dc6000 and plan on plumbing using pvc. My thought was to use a threaded 1 1/4" adapter to 1" and then feeding it to the return. I was also going to t off to a 3/4" for a manifold. The threaded side is 1 1/4". Hope that helps.
