Storing pH probes long term

Is it possible to store a pH probe long term - I'm guessing about 1 year will be the storage time. Or should i just chuck them and buy new when the time comes?

To be honest, I'd chuck em. But that said, if you still have the bottle with whatever that solution they come with, I'd use that..
