was thinking of getting the reef octopus 202 s. anyone have any good or bad experiences with reef octopus? Any other recommendations are welcome total tank volume will be 140 gallons, I'm looking for a skimmer around 200 g

Vertex is also a good bang for the buck. The avast marine swabbie kits arent terribly expensive.

I went with Aquamaxx for my build as well.

Go to RAP and bring some cash with you on Sunday. None of the vendors like bringing back equipment with them. Serious deals can be had on all the brands mentioned above. A 6" to 7" diameter body with a good pump and air draw will do perfectly on your sized tank.
