The tank is about 6 weeks old. I used the reef rocks from my other established tank along with a bag of Matrix with all kinds of good bacteria. 10lbs of dry sand. I fragged a huge GSP mat into smaller pieces of nice rocks. I'm thinking of just placing them strategically for eye candy, or perhaps as trading pieces.

Attached are the different rock scapes it went through. I'm already thinking of redesigning, more sand, less rock, we'll see. Looking for comments and suggestions.

Below is the list of equipment:

Nuvo 20
AI Hydra 26 HD with mount
2x - IM Caddys
Custom glass top
Cobalt MJ1200 Return pump
Cobalt 50w heater (let's see how this holds up in the winter time, may need to upgrade to 75w)

Filtration:

1x - Chemipure Elite
2x - bags of Matrix
2x - filter floss

Are you running anything in the 2nd chambers (the fuge section)?
Not at the moment. I have the heater and a bunch of matrix in the 2nd chamber for about a year now. Still debating if growing some chaeto or other micro algae back there would be beneficial. So far so good.

Yeah, contemplating the same thing too, everything I research seems to be along the lines of "chaeto won't be that benficial in a small 20g", so kind of torn
