Ready for frags yet?
I'm probably good to go at this point. I've added a fat head anthia and some more clean up crew. No nitrite or ammonia spike from it. Big 3 are all in check too. Got some diatoms on the sand bed. I'll see if I can head that way this weekend if you'll be around. I'll shoot ya a text.

Stopped by TGC over the weekend. Great looking acros as always and it's great to see decent sized colonies. This one stood out to me:

The growth looks different from most sps I've had. Anyone know what type it is? I like the red that's popping through on the higher lit areas. The polyps are extremely neon green and so far are constantly out.

Here is a millepora from TGC as well. Nice and red with some teal polyps. Hopefully it holds its color and the polyps come out more. Hard to capture this one. I need to remember to kill the flow when taking pictures under LEDS, gives a disco effect.

How is your PE on this piece? The polyps on my piece have been retracted since being in the tank.
they are out, not as out as they can be, but i also just stuck in where i had space. it was an impulse buy. I need to get it on a bigger plug before it outgrows the one it came on.

So nice to have color in the tank. I've added a lot at once, so I'm going to be on my parameters like mad. I'm thinking about setting up a skimmer as well. Probably replacing the large rock in the sump for some marinepure blocks and skimmer to be on the safe side.

Pulled my large rock from the sump and added a Reef Octopus Elite 150int. This section is 10" deep and the skimmer calls for 6-8". I have some marine blocks OTW from BRS that I plan to make a stand out of. So far it's functioning great but baaaaarely fit.
