Day 10

Green Hair Algae still holding but slowly dying. Starting look like I may have to do one more treatment to fully eradicate it but we will see.

Day 14

Bryopsis 100% gone. Hair algae very brown and brittle and about 50-60% gone. Looking so much better. I ended up pulling out a few loose pieces after these shots. I cant believe how awesome this worked and is continuously working. Anyone on the fence on this don't hesitate and get your beautiful tank back. All coral are fine and also chaeto still thriving. 20171216_160343.jpg 20171216_160350.jpg 20171216_160354.jpg

Day 1 vs Day 15

Conclusion great success! This will be the only way I ever deal with nuisance algae ever again. Still have a tiny bit of hair algae but its all dying. Huge difference from day 1 to today Day 15. If you want to read others experience here is a huge thread.

lowbudget Dude get on the Fluconazole. Its 90% gone within 2 weeks. I may do one more treatment but still waiting it out to see what the next few weeks do as it is still dying. 0 negative effects and chaeto still thriving. I think I dosed a bit more than I was suppose to also. I didn't take into consideration rocks in my tank so I added enough for 130G which was 2600 mg.

From the thread on reef2reef you can do both vibrant and flucanozole if it's not working fast enough.

Did you do a large water change yet? I'm using the ReefHD (fluconazole) combined with KZ Coral Snow and it's working pretty fast on the Hair algae. Almost completely gone. I plan on following up with a 30-40% water change to export as much die off as I can. Hopefully that will prevent a regrowth of GHA.

I didn't do a water change at all. I tested my No3 and po4 levels and they are still really low.
