I think it would need to be some type of band saw, one that can get wet so you don't burn the blade.

Thanks for the options guys!! This will be my wife and I build she is actually really involved now since I told her if she gets involved we will start a large build so she can have her blue tang. Hahaha what an excuse right

I don't think the smaller coral band saws will give you enough clearance to cut a wide enough shelf piece. There is only like 6 inches clearance from the table to the guide up top. I sent you a pm if you want some shelf.

The hacksaw suggestion sounds good. Im going to be moving my tank and I have some cool pieces that I am going to need to cut off so I dont damage them. If anyone has used a hacksaw on Tonga please advise.
