I cleaned everything out and I'm bypassing the flowmeter. Tomorrow I'm setting all my levels where I want them and go from there. My salinity is at 35ppt

Quick update. The effluent still stopped even though I by passed the flow meter. I put the flow meter back on and moved the needle valve to the sump on Friday and it's hasn't stopped since. My alk levels seem to be more stable and I rose my MG to 1500.

Are you running it at a stream? I tried the stream method with my ph at 7 and my alk rose to 9 from 8.2 overnight.

I was but now, that I decided the needle valve is crap and went back to a 2.00 valve, I went back to drip.

So UPDATE!

The needle valve started to slow down again so I'm not using it anymore. I ended up going back to an air line valve like I had with the GEO.
