Isopod of some type. Like a sand crab you can catch at beach. Is that the same? Good or bad? Don't know. Recently add anything to your setup that it would come along on? If not means it's been in there a while and might not be bad. Found it in display and moved to sump or found in sump? If you don't like it, I'll take it for my sump. Where you located?

Again. If you haven't added anything recently it means it's been in your system for a while without carnage. Run filter socks? If so, be hard to get from display to refugium so it would have been on something added to fuge area. Isopods are pretty hard to keep. Filter feeders. So having enough to sustain them is difficult. Keep it and be stoked you have a cool animal not too many if any others have.

Id say if you dont feel comfortable, when in doubt, Throw it out!

Better to lose a pest than risk it for some cool creature
