Will one of thoes filefishes take care of manjano anemones??? Bought one but im scared he will pick at my other corals lol need some feed bacl input.

How bad is the infestation of Manjano anemones, if its just a couple It might worth going another route, like the wand or something similar.

Its a hit and miss, its also a good idea to ask the LFS if its eating Aptaisia and majano

Hes in my refugium now.....leaving him down there until i build up some courage to throw him up lol

Do you have any aiptasia in the refugium? Or can you get a piece down there to test him out?

I dont have good experience with filefish. They are not only go for aiptasia, but zoa and some LPS too.

One good thing about filefish is they are reslly slow moving so easier to catch than other fish. So id keep you eye on it if you do add it.

like mention above, hit or miss... If it's just 10-15 I would just get some aptasia X and go through the tank. A high power laser is also a fun way to take them down!

leather filefish is likely. I would recommend though the following:

Majano wand which zaps them

OR

Get a syringe. Fill it with either. . ... . Lemon juice, kalkwasser diluted or boiling water and inject it into their core. will destroy them quickly. Be patient....if you have 50, gonna take a while but you'll wipe them out!
