    Default Advice on sand!

So I had some dry sand in a bucket and forgot to bring it in. Unfortunately rain water got in it so my concerns are if I decided to use it would they be any bad outcomes from it using sand after rain water has touched it?

Rain water is fairly clean. I'd say rodi rinse and your fine.

I rinsed it out with regular water. Stirred it with my hand and reused it with no issues.

I did a 50/50 mix of live sand and dry fine crushed coral in my new tank, set up over a year ago. I put the crushed coral in a pillow case, rinsed like crazy with the hose, then left it on a chair to drain for the day. No problems. I'd rinse it out and use it.

Rain is safe, no issue in my opinion.
