sponge started growing from rock on to glass wall on back of tank. Keep or get rid of?

For what I know sponges are suppose to be filter feeders and not harm corals. I havea white one growing around my acans and no harm done. Cant help you on IDing it. For me they look ugly and ive tried removing it but just grew back. I would deffinently remove those bristle worms lol those things give me the hebegeebees

I have the same black encrusting sponge. Harmless, but kinda ugly and covers a big chunk of my rocks
