I have a canon SL1. Im currently using a 18-55 lens and have a macro prime coming. I also have the avast marine porthole. I am somewhat new to DSLR cameras. Any advice on taking some nice close-up photos of my coral? I have tried with the auto focus and the camera does not seem to recognize when it is in focus and I cannot figure how to focus the camera manually with the porthole on.
