You're out there. I say just make a day of it and head South West for a day and visit some fish stores. Map some out within a 4-10 miles of each other and go window shopping. Then go back to the one that you like. Travel back home in a bag won't be any different than if you had one shipped or as it was from colletcor to wholesaler. I believe there are some on here with wholesale access. Maybe they can help you visit one. I know Seaside Tropical and 405 Tropical seem to always have some and they're both in HB. There's Tongs in FV which is close to both of them. But I have my own opinions on that. But a nice store to visit none the less. Long Beach has Age of Aquariums, Strictly, which I also have opinions on, Carson Tropical that isn't on Carson ave. anymore nor in the city of Carson. It's in Hawaiian Gardens which is short of being a garden nor Hawaiian.
