Glass was my first trade. Used portable press and Anti-freeze when doing outlets and switches. A ring of plumbers putty to make a puddle and just let the weight of the drill do the work. Next time try anti-freeze and LESS pressure.
Interesting piece of glass he used. Looks like it was poured. Used to be Pyrex and Corel by Corning were some of the hardest glass there was. Now they have crazy stuff out there. Reflecting 30 years ago.
