I just bought a 72x30x24 220g peninsula tank. Tank will be mixed reef. Trying to get a feel for lighting. Im thinking about getting 2-8x24w ati sunpowers and mounting them so the bulbs are perpendicular to the 72 side of the tank, then getting 3-24 reefbright tech or vho LEDs. One on each end of the atis and 1 in the middle. Anyone know the spread of a 8bulb fixture? Ive had them over a 36 wide tank and they seemed to give decent par on the edges. Could possibly change the reefbrights for radions. Opinions anyone?

I like how you thinking. 8 lamp on a 30 is perfect.

I have a 8x24" sunpower if you're headed in that direction.
