I thought I'd document my battle with GHA in my nano using Tunze CareBacter. I know there are a lot of other stuff out there but I figured I'd give this a try.
Here's the product.




Here are a few pics of the trouble areas. I'll try and take pics of the same area to show the difference.

This is what the powder looks like.


The insructions say you can just dump it in but I decided to mix it with some tank water and dose the whole thing in the return section

Here's the GHA after siphoning some out.

you can definitely tell that it's slowly dying back so definitely looks like it's working. Most importantly, the corals look like they're unaffected by the treatment.

Does the tank have a sand bed of any kind? I ask because I've used Dr. Tim's (waste away, etc) in 3 tanks over the years and it only seems to work well in tank with dsb.
