Default economy and the rate of selling aquariums - 07-30-2010, 09:57 PM

Recently there have been a lot of people selling their tanks due to moving, jobs, upgrades, downgrades, etc.. but does it have anything to do with the economy that forces people to get out of the hobby? it's kinda sad to see people leaving this hobby and LFS closing down...

just a thought!

you'll see a lot more FS ads on here, CL and other places in the summer... it's just that newbs get into this and don't expect a crash for lack of chiller...

but... i see what you are saying... yes... the economy is very bad... but... i've noticed that fish and some corals are getting cheaper and cheaper... so... kinda good for us passionate enthusiast that get deals here and there... but for some of them struggling, it's sad and sucks... i almost came to the point of selling my setup and everything... but i didn't... i still really can't afford my hobby... but pull through somehow... LOL...
