From my perspective, I'd rather rinse floss then wash socks! But that's just me. I like the idea of being able to add other stuff too. It's kind of like another layer of filtration that could be customized to each user's needs. For me, an idea I had would be to get an extra cup and drill more holes on the side for more flow through a filter floss application. Again, just an idea but I like the flexibility I see here.

Seems pretty practical.

will you guys be making a 7" one?
They were designed for use with Red Sea tanks actually, so you shouldn't need one. If you do end up needing one, though, it'll ship for free! Molds are expensive and we weren't sure of the response from hobbyists until today, but the answer is yes—we definitely have intentions of working with the manufacturer to develop additional options.
