So........super noob here but I had an outbreak of crypto. QT'd the fish and the display has been empty for 5 days. Today there are things swarming the glass of my tank. I assume they're copepods because the free swimming crypto is apparently not visible to the human eye right? They appear to be about 1/32" long sort of silverfishy looking and there are what can only be described as egg sacs on the glass too. They appear anchored by a small hair like strand and small clear sac, about 1/32" long as well. I'm just not sure what else they could be as far as friend or foe in my tank? I'm giving the tank a full 4 weeks before another fish enters but would like to know if they are copepods that I have a nice reproducing colony in there.
