I purchased a red/blue LED (20W) light that is used for hydroponics and put it over my fuge. It has been there a week and the clump of cheato I had has grown noticeably. Plus it looks cool as hell. I've tried the 38 par lights LED lights in the past with only limited growth, this is crazy awesome. I'm wondering how zoas and shrooms will react, anyone else try?

the lighting conditions that cheato grows best under are similar to that of plants, which is in the red spectrum of light. Corals on the hand are predominately based in the blue spectrum of light because it is a wavelength that pierces the water the deepest out of ROYGBIV. Since it has both red and blue im hypothesizing that you may get some unwated algea growth, but you should give it a try and get back to us! also include photos :)
