Over a 300? You might get some spotlighting with just one fixture. It's supposed to mimic a MH so I assume the spread isn't much unless you hang it high.
I have about a foot between MH bulb ends so it would be used sandwiched between 2 MH's, and surrounded by 4 T5's and its dimmable. Think that would help with spotlighting?
