Vortechs are MP40's and are positioned along the back wall. They continously blow the sand bed away from the front corner of the tank. Don't want to position them on the side walls so any ideas?

Nothing you can really do but maybe add some small pieces of rock up front to help redirect the flow off the sand.

Same thing for my tank and it's 30 deep. Only way I prevented it is move one to the side and put the other one on reverse slave at 30% and moved it up higher on the tank

I'm going to play around with the positioning a bit more as the rock I've placed on the front right of the tank hasn't really helped. Maybe I should downsize to MP10's?

Yes 2 mp40s are too strong for my 36x30 110g. I have then on 40% max and it's still blowing stuff everywhere. I can't use mp10s since the acrylic is 3/4" thick or I would have

Yeah I'd prefer not to downsize as my system will be sps dominated and once growth takes off the 40's will be needed to keep the flow random and strong once the corals grow in.

I hate bare bottom myself. I don't think it looks nice. I have such a shallow sand bed just for appearance.
Move your mp40s higher up. To avoid stirring up the sand. Even high up the flow will move downward just not as violent.
