I do not shop at Petco but today I just got the 20 gallon for ATO. $39.99 reg. price and paid $23.20 including tax. There is something wrong with PETCO cash register. Tax must be $160 not $3.20. I am not sure why Petco tax on reg. price instead on sale price, very odd. That is petco. It is still cheap.

Yes they tax you on the original price not the sales price.
