A couple updated shots. This slimer is getting outta control. Wish I had it mounted to a bigger rock.

Looks awesome man! Mind if I bend your virtual ear, since I am thinking getting the EXACT same tank? I am going to get a custom with an external overflow. However, its going in a corner; the peninsula style is so I can access the plumbing and push it as far back to the wall ( I am more width limited than length). Is there anything you would change about the dimensions? I can get an off the shelf thats only 24" wide for 1/2 the price...but not as nice. I could make it 36" wide...but the price would go up and I am kinda already pushing it. Where did you buy yours? I can't find any off the shelves that look like yours

Yeah there are def a few things I would do different. I would go with one of over the eshopps over flows just for the extra space in the tank. Also depending on budget and space you have available I wish I would have gone 36 wide but 30 is still pretty nice. If I wanted to go 36 wide it would have been alot more expensive as the glass thickness would have been more. I would have also gone with a metal stand and not built one myself (Total pain in the ass haha). I got my tank from Ellis Aquatics. Dont sweat it too much if you dont have the width 30 is still a really sweet set up. The only other thing I would have done is gotten a all new aquascape even though I really like mine I came across West Mariculture 6 months after setting this thing up and I love their scapes for SPS tank set up. Check out their aquascapes on facebook and instagram where they are super active. Other than that my system seems to be humming along good. I dont do water changes and actually have started to have to dose nitrates to keep my nutrients up. Dose the big 3 via dosers and blind dose red sea abcd. Thats about it. Let me know if you have any other questions.

Thanks! Yeah I ran into the same problem when speccing a 36...plus the my wife would be pissed. Definitely getting a metal stand and scaping from scratch...I have a 20g now. Hopefully I'll be posting it soon!

System update. Everything is cranking. Not sure I mentioned or not but I replaced my 3 MarsAqua with Reefbreeder 50 V2+ for lighting and still have 2 60 in T5. I just added a 50g low bot frag tank to my set up. Corals are cranking. Just ordered another reefbreeders 50 V2+ for the frag tank. Though my cheap LED Black Box is turning my acros into fire. Will try and post some videos below.

Some frags im growing out in the frag tank. Finally used my DSLR for better photos. Also alot easier getting cool shots in the frag tank than the display. From Top to bottom: Vivid Confetti, TGC Cherry Bomb, Walt Disney, Indo Wild, and RRU OP.
