Not for a stand, but itll be the same as building cabinets or atleast the face frame part of it. Tools you'll need miter saw, finish nailer, pocket hole jig (optional). For the doors you can buy unfinish cabinet doors or make your own.

I did but never finished it since I had to baby proof quick. I counter sunk some of those rare earth epoxy coated magnets into 3/4 plywood. So far I've just coated it in killz primer. After I paint it I plan to add some thin slider pads over the magnets to quiet it down. 4 magnets per panel and its difficult to pull off. I glued/nailed some square trim on each panel to rest on the stands floor keeps all the panels level.

I have pretty much the same. I opted to have Crystal Dynamics do them but used Killz and painted them.

I’d recommend not using that material for a skin. It scuffs and scratches... it’s a soft material. It’s light though and would look great, at first anyway.

I was gonna wrap it with vinyl sticker or epoxy paint it

I am going to make a 1/4 frame with sunken magnets then skin that in old barnwood planks or wine barrel planks, go for the farmhouse look. I dont have equipment under mind though.

Nice tank and stand! Just curious, do you know the maker of the tank and how you found it? I am looking for a similar set up just smaller 72”x30”x24”. Thanks

I absolutely love my FRP skin. Light weight, super durable. 100% salt water resistant and pretty darned inexpensive. No need to paint but it is a plane-Jane skin. Wipes clean. I don’t think that paint would even stick to it.
