Woah don’t run it!! I think that bucket you’re using is too thin. Those pumps have a minimum thickness that the motor and the propeller drive have to be apart.

You should be alright if it wasn’t for too long. You can usually put something between the mag drive and bucket like a piece of plastic or acrylic

Wow, looks to be in great shape. (sarcasm)

What a bummer. Its hard to say, as you may end up buying a new wetside, and the bearings are bad in the dry side. May not be worth it.... But if you get a new wetside you'd have a spare and its better than buying a new one.

True, and if the dry side bearing are out then it will be a learning experience on how to switch that out.
Part of the hobby learn how to fix things.
