Wow people are a lil agitated. Stay calm and reef. This is what I think happened. I think sabz meant wrong sub forum (WTB, selling livestock, selling dry goods, etc) and tofucube thought he meant go to another forum like RC or R2R.

Mcshams, go to homepage and scroll down or the menu button click forums and scroll down to find the sub forums.

for OP, I'm in redlands and my experience with buying corals is it requires some driving. I've seen some dudes selling stuff in riverside, but i've never bought from them. so that'd be the closest. there's a guy in rialto that i bought some stuff from, but i forget where i came across him. offerup or craigslist or maybe reef2reef?

i generally make the drive to the Murrieta area, corona area, or just to OC

@Dvon0605 goes to wholesale sometimes, but idk if he wants to mess with coral?
Yeah I'm not looking to get into the coral game. Too many egos involved. Not gonna play the whole lineage game and all that nonsense. Fish are straightforward. Either it is the fish you want or not. No arguing it really. Plus, the coral market is so oversaturated with chop shops and people who are just looking to make a buck. Im more interested in actual hobbyists. Anyone can buy a colony of coral and chop it up into a billion little pieces to sell as quick as possible. It takes much more work and dedication to make sure someone is getting a healthy disease free fish. Sorry for the rant but I absolutely do not have any interest in getting involved in all that nonsense. I don't want to offend anyone when I sell a coral and it doesn't have its jason fox akc papers or whatever it is everyone gets all worked up about

It does take a lot of effort and know how to have/sell colored up big free corals. Much more involved than the simplistic idea of chop shopping

Sorry i didn't mean to offend anyone who does own a chop shop. Just expressing why I do not do this. There are very few people who actually propagate corals instead of just chopping up colonies. Dave Botwin being one who actually grows out corals and gives them away for free. Most just chop and sell and theres nothing wrong with that. Just not my thing is all

Not sure what this is supposed to mean but I'm guessing something about what I said offended you. I am not saying that there's anything wrong with owning a chop shop. I have many friends who do. I was just giving the op the reason as to why I do not bring in corals, as opposed to just saying too bad I don't sell coral. I guess I should clarify my stance. There are people who sell corals that do put the work into true propagation and will give you an established frag that has entrusting or new growth as a frag. But most do buy a colony, chop it up, and sell. And again, there is nothing wrong with this. It is a good way to make money
