the tip of mine healed a for the most part. The rock it was on got nudged into the shade by a giant turbo I'd never even seen before. Starting to get daylight coloration, green with some blue possibly purple to the body. I've got it on the bottom glass right now in real high flow. I'll probably be posting and moving it to a higher spot. I'm sure it was getting nailed with par in Mark's tank.
Mine looks the same, bluish purple coralites and body now with some green.

Nice PE, for whatever reason I have pathetic PE 😔
My pieces have shown better polyp extension across the board since the transfer. I honestly think it’s something to do with bare bottom and lower nutrients that before but not 100% sure

Sounds like a reasonable assessment, 🤔 EXCEPT for the part that I too am running bare bottom, but have not been blessed with any PE 🤨! Nice try smite.... trying to throw me off! 😂 nitrates are 0 and Phos is .03

Ah theres your problem, WAY too clean. Drastic actions needed if you want to win this thing. Immediately dump a can of tuna in your sump and bring those nitrates up in the 50ppm range, you'll thank me later bro!

Here are my check in pics as well. I’m not even sure when we are supposed to do these but I’m just jumping on the band wagon lol

Good polyp extension. I see it getting fatter but not longer.

That’s what she said.

I'll post mine tomorrow. after cleaning the glass yesterday I found mine has shrunk in size due to some stn at base. Hope I got that stopped as found my DI resin had channeled and tds was at 10 and used that water for several large water changes last 2 weeks.. and resulted in big algae explosion which noticed b4 the stn.... wish wasnt working nites so could see things like this when lights on..

I put the zero at the base of the frag not the plug.
Yeah I should have done that also so I can actually get a number measurement LOL, but I started with the ruler flush at the plug so I guess I’ll have to continue measuring that way for parity. Either way it’s a before and after so hopefully we can figure out the growth at the end.

For me, it is difficult to line up the ruler and take a picture. Often times it is tilted or not at the base with the zero. My wife is kind enough to help with a much needed third hand. Some of the pictures here a deceiving with a slightly different angel taken through the water will make the frag larger or taller than it is.

I feel the same way about trying to measure it. It is a good thing to have a great wife behind you to help. My wife took the pictures for me cause it was so hard

I just set my phone one a tripod and set the timer on for a few seconds while I walk over to the tank and hold the ruler. Snap...Good to go 📸

this is why I put my ruler agains the base of the plug. The I just have to worry about getting the eye of the phones camera level with the frag so it comes out similar shot to shot.

the stn seems to have stopped for now... you can see the algae explosion from the tds issue... should be better next month... surprised it has lived this long

Ok, finally cleaned the glass and did a WC. Here is my November update. Had to moved the ruler down to the base of the plug for more stability for the photo. Both of the MP40 and Tunze had the ruler pushed around when trying to take the photo. Frag got some encrusting and there are some vertical growth. The muted blue/purple are beginning to lighten up.
