Tisbe Biminiensis are commonly referred to as “Tisbe Pods” in the hobby. They are the most popular copepod out there and are what most of us are referring to when we talk about the pod population in our tanks. They are primarily benthic, so they live on glass, rocks, bare bottoms, cheato and sand. Tisbe Biminiensis species is great for dragonents (mandarins, scooters), pipefish, seahorses, wrasses, SPS, LPS & NPS and other filter feeders or marine animals with special feeding requirements.
