I may go when it opens, but haven't decided yet.

I see your point, but the difference is you you can't feed your family with corals.
Yea but I can also bet every activity you have done outside of your home for the past 10 months has not pertained to feeding your family. No need to have COVID debate but what I am getting at is we all take what calculated risks we are comfortable with. If you or your family is high risk then stay home, if not then go enjoy yourself and be safe. Wear a mask, social distance, wash your hands.

Just to be safe im going to wait until later on. Dont want to risk bringing something home to my elderly parents just for corals.
That's where I am at, but I did go last time which was like 4 months ago and it was super fun. Small but awesome vendors and really nice/cheap corals

I went last time during Covid they had a lot of open space, with spaced out booths and the center was wide open for everyone to keep their distances. They had hand sanitizer at the front but everyone should wash their hands before entering. As long as you keep your mask on, wash hands and maintain some social distance and not be sick if your there. And check temperature. You would be more then safe then a grocery store. Just people were bunched up together. They should have allowed 2-3 per booth or if they are in same family or group that rode together, rather then 5-7 people at a table of random strangers. But overall I don’t think anyone got sick from going to it. I think the worst places are gas stations and door knobs

But you’ll go to Costco/Walmart/Ralph’s/Cvs/restaurants and everything else. I don’t see the difference.
I have not be in one since shortly after the pandemic started. You would have to hold a gun to my head to get me to go to Wal-Mart at this time! We do not go to restaurants or order food in from them. We order on-line from Costco.
I hate to discourage any one for going to anything hobby related. I know I will not even think about going personally, just not worth the risk to me!
On January 8th I got sick with covid and immediately QTed. It did its best to kill me. It came way to close! 3 trips to ER and 5 days in the hospital were very scarry!! I have serious permanent damage to my lungs, possibily other issues and will be on meds for at least 6 months. Today is the first day I have been able to do more than just get up and do minimal things. The only maintenance I was able to do on my tanks in a month in a half was clean my very full skimmer cup and 2 clogged filter socks. That easy 10 min job took me almost an hour and total exhausted me.
Sadly I may have past covid on to 3 people in the days before I had any symptoms. One of those people, a close friend died!
I thought I was being very careful. Don't let it happen to you. Be extra careful.
