I have a 8bulb ATI t5 light.
Today it started turning on and off repeatedly and I’ve tried to unplug and plug back in, but it’s like the power is cycling on and off? Anyone ever had this or know if it’s fixable?

I believe it’s 4 ballasts that control 2 lamps each.
If the whole light is turning on then off you have a bad connection where power enters the fixture or that module /display is probably faulty. For a bad connection look for the first point of contact/splice on the black and white wire. The display is turning off so it’ll be up stream of that too.

Ok. I’m going to swap it for a 36” aquatic life fixture until I get it figured out. These fish splash a lot so I figure it got wet or something. I was leaning away from ballasts because all lights go out and display “reboots” every few seconds, but at this point I have no real idea lol.

I’ll open it up and see if I see any water damage or bad connections or anything noticeable.

thanks again. It might just be time For a new fixture. 8 bulb was a bit over kill for the nems and softies lol.

You can always email ATI. They have a great customer service and very helpful dont forget to attach the Video.
