Like the title says. Looking for someone that can do this or a referral.

150g glass eurobraced tank split the front right seam. Everything else looks ok. I don't have time to repair.

Alternatively, if someone has a 48" or longer frag tank they'd like to trade plus cash on my end lmk

I have done a few tanks now. It is not that hard of a job if you get the right materials.

It takes a couple hours to scrape off the old silicone. 20 minutes or so to tape it. 5 minutes to silicone it, a couple minutes to retape it, a minute to pull the tape, and then two weeks to cure.

It seems scary, but it is actually pretty easy, especially if you are only doing one side.

This is the worse advice. The seam split. The tank needs to be completely torn apart. Every seam needs to be scraped and cleaned. Especially at a tank of that size. New silicone won’t bond to old cured silicone. To get the best possible finish and longevity of the tank the whole tank need to be ripped apart and resealed. Resealing a tank is not a job you want to rush either.
I know I rebuilt a lee-mar 187g that had failed seams. It took 3 months. 6 weeks of that was curing. Everything I’ve read says a tank that is curing shouldn’t be moved for 28day at minimum, and that’s in proper temp and humidity levels.

Ouch, so there's no way to reliably pull just the front panel and re-install?

I've seen your thread, you did a great job but that's a lot of time and effort.

In all honesty it’s not ideal. Like I said new silicone won’t bond to cursed surfaces silicone. So that leaves points of failure in the bottom corners. Points of failure with 150g of water is not what I cal ideal.
