Pet World. San Berdo.

Hey just checked out Pet World, i believe is the name, in San Bernardino last week. Didn't even realize it's right down the street from my house. They fish and coral section was nice. got a blue hippo tang and Halloween crab for super cheap, both are doing good.

What is your guy's opinion on that place? Anyone hear know the peeps? are they a sponsor here? anything I should know before going back if so?

Discovered them in high school when I first started reefing. As soon as I realized there were other LFSs I stopped going there. I'm not going to bad mouth anybody so I'll leave it at that.

Yea pet world in berdo is also known as death world. Be careful when buying fish from their. U have to know what ur looking for. All there racks are linked together. Of one tank has ick bad then the whole system is infected. Most of the time the fish there are alway infected with ick. A lot of the IE people on here will not even step foot in the place anymore cus of how many fish they kill weekly.

That being said I've boughten a lot of stuff from them. My sohal, a few clowns. Can go on and on. Lately tho I really haven't got any thing from them. It kinda pisses MO that they won't do any deals if u walk in with a handful of cash. Also some times it seems like they pull a price out of there butts.

**** the sad part is u guys r so correct I have only had two fish survive from there I only care for one of the guys the older brother is a jerk not to friendly n I spend lost of money every time I go. But not all there tank r on the same unit it's per section. I thought it was me. I have been to tropical reef once and it was not a great day I look the frag tank was not clean n the selection itself was poor from fish to coral the guy behind the counter I'm guessing that was Jason asked if I need help but never got up.mystic reef gave me a hard on because he was saying he was willing to do and get anything how true not sure but he was the only store to go out of his way to give me his personal contact number n told me to call him at any time. I was in Covina last week at fish world this guy tried to charge me n extra $100 dollars I have the receipt to prove it little did he know I'm n accountant and I very pick n I let him hang himself by letting me walk out the store I went back a minute later and asked for my $100 dollars back he tried to say sorry but trust that's not a common mistake it was done on purpose. I'm not trying to bash any store except fish world that's just not how you do business and tropical reef I will go back will give a second chance because I may have caught him on a bad day. Mystic reef I will allow him to feel me up but trust I will call his bluf one day and hopefully he comes thru. If he does that will be my store

well on a plus out of the 5 hippo tangs I saw the 4 others were like white on the belly (not yellow) and just looked pale. the one I got is SUPER colorful and ick free. Wont go back now for sure thanks for saving me only guys!

i only go there to buy fish food too no more shopping for anything there for me any more... i got a couple of damsels to test out my tank and one of them was clearly stressed they tried selling it to me like that they bagged him up and everything i was like hey change the fish cause i aint paying for that

I live in redlands and I'm very new to keeping salt water tanks. They sold me on a yellow stripe maroon clownfish.. Bought it...I asked while I was in the store if there was any reason to worry about the bump on the fishes head....got home and did a freshwater dip...the dang fish was covered in all kinds of junk... Took the fish back and they acted as if nothing was wrong at all with that dang fish....Eventually they gave me store credit to buy other stuff.... le sigh

Daryls pet shop in redlands seems to me the best place to go locally. The owner takes pretty good care of all of his customers, even going out of his was to order stuff for me if they didn't have it. And if a fish is sick he wouldn't sell it, and if he did he would give a warning about the fish first.

There r 2 good locations out here one is tropical reef fish store in rancho off foothill. The other is Mystic reef in riverside off limonite

Hmm don't get paid until friday, so on friday I shall check out those places...

I'm kinda sad to find my ricordea mushroom has disappeared...it was there at like 3pm today...but when I got home at 11:00pm it was gone.... I looked all over but can't see it anywhere.

Have u guys been to Jans Tropical in Montclair? Pretty cool guy and they always have a 10% off printable coupon. Show the paper, get the discount,then he tells you to keep it for next time.
